how is reiki taught?
siam reiki consists of four levels taught and mastered over time:
one: reiki channel
two: reiki healer
three: reiki master (may open a professional practice + receive payment)
four: reiki master/teacher (may teach and attune students in reiki)
you don’t need to take all four levels to benefit from learning reiki. however, reiki energy and understanding deepens at each level of training. training focuses on mastering both the theory and practice of reiki for each level before advancing. therefore, each level requires certain amounts of in-class and practice hours. reiki is a journey and not a strictly linear or intellectual one.
how many times a year do you teach reiki?
i currently offer reiki training 3-4 times a year. this is to respect the shared-living space i live and work in and to balance my reiki work with my other career and obligations in life. you may have to wait several months in between trainings for there to be enough students ready for your next group course at your desired training level (unless you purchase a private course).
i am not in toronto, can i learn over zoom?
no. reiki must be taught in-person as the energetic attunements require both the master/teacher and student be in the same place. i would strongly avoid taking any reiki course offered online as one cannot attune a student remotely. my courses can be taught as back to back days in order to accomodate folks who may be travelling in from out of town.
level one: reiki channel
level one is where all practitioners begin their siam reiki journey. reiki one courses are comprised of the following:

2 days of in-person learning (one for theory, one for practical application) with approximately 90 minutes of homework between day 1 and 2.
continued access to susanna as your reiki teacher outside of class time

PRIVATE reiki one course: $950 + hst ($1073.50) / per course, (this is for anyone who would prefer to learn by themselves, or purchase the course for themselves and one friend). contact me to schedule your private course.
prerequisites for learning reiki one: while anyone can learn reiki (you don’t need to have any special abilities), there are a few criteria you must meet before beginning your reiki one training:
you must be at least 13 years of age.
not more than 3 months pregnant, and not hospitalized.
please avoid all forms of intoxicants (legal or otherwise) and non-prescription meds from 48 hours before the start of your course and throughout its duration.
if you have ever terminated a pregnancy, you will require a reiki treatment from me prior to the course, at regular treatment rates. please contact me to set this up.
it is recommended you’ve had one reiki treatment from me beforehand, to make sure the reiki i give is something you want to learn.
level two: reiki healer
this is a big step in your reiki training. at level two, a reiki practitioner becomes a more active participant in reiki healing, harnessing more reiki energy. at this level you’ll learn the reiki symbols, how to give distance/remote reiki, how to sense emotions present in a person’s field, and how to facilitate deep emotional clearings. you’ll also be able to begin further training in crystal healing & pendulum work, as well as assist a reiki master in a home/space clearing. reiki two courses are comprised of the following:

why are fees different between group / private course? this reflects that both group and private courses require the same time, preparation, and energetic labour for me to teach and attune students. in a group setting, these costs can be absorbed among multiple participants, in a private course, they cannot.
i learned reiki somewhere else, can i train with you? if you learned reiki one (or two) from another teacher, please be in contact with me to set up an energetic assessment. reiki is taught through specific lineages AND ITS QUALITY CAN VARY WILDLY. IT IS ALSO UNREGULATED, AND MANY DILUTED AND FAKE VERSIONS PROLIFERATE NOWADAYS. to preserve the integrity of the siam reiki lineage, all students must meet my training criteria before training with me. it is likely I will ask you to retake a level with me before admitting you as my student.
